My room included a spacious layout ideal. The hotel provided a delicious evening meal. Friendly staff offered assistance whenever needed.
The water pressure in the sink was somewhat weak during peak hours.

poor soundproofingoutdated machines
i was annoyed the room lacked proper soundproofing. i could hear every footstep and conversation from the hallway. it made relaxing difficult. also, the advertised gym was quite limited.. it had only a few outdated machines. i expected more for the price i paid given the castle's excellent exterior.

The staff were always helpful. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful.
The hotel seemed basic considering the price. I saw price stickers still on the bathroom bin. There was no hot water for the bath. It was only lukewarm.

the four poster room was lovely. a treat of prosecco was in my room to celebrate my anniversary. i booked dinner at the restaurant and the service was lovely (very thoughtful). the food was delicious and breakfast was very good.
i arrived during a wedding. i was told my room was right above the event which was not good planning. the room felt empty with a pathetic offering for the teas and coffees. there was no one at the reception desk when i checked out.
